Happy Friday!
2010 May 7
Hey friends – it’s the weekend!!
I hope you get to relax a bit over the next couple of days – read a book, work in the garden, have a leisurely Saturday breakfast with the newspaper maybe?
I am working at the coffee shop Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening, but at least I like my job and it is a place where other people come to relax so the vibe is not too hectic. Of course on Sunday we are headed to see my mama for some good family time on Mothers Day!
Have a good one!

coffee shop? I’m behind, I didn’t know you got a job when you got back . . .
I’m also working this weekend, although I’m sure you can imagine my job is pretty darn hectic on the weekends.

Hey Morgan! Yeah, I’m working part time at a cute coffee shop in my neighbourhood. Just started there last week so I wanted to see if I liked it before I started rambling on about it on the blog. But I guess now I just got confusing – haha!
Hope you enjoy your weekend and work is fun!

The tulips in the photo make me think of your mom’s home in SA. I remebered how she loves to decorate her lounge and kitchen and do interior decorations. I learned a lot from her to let her guests feel welcome at home and your parents friendliness towards all. You inherit the talent to be creative and being surrender by nice and beautiful flowers and other things from her.

Hi Coleen! I actually took this picture in my parents’ house – so you are totally right! My mom really does have a great talent for creating a beautiful and welcoming home. It feels like a big hug when you walk in
You remember it well.
